Vedanta Chairman Anil Agarwal lauds ‘Gully Boy’, says a truly inspiring film
Mumbai: Anil Agarwal, Founder and Chairman of Vedanta Group, has recently become active on social media. Sharing his life experiences to inspire the youth he described the journey from the moment he set foot in Mumbai to the day he became the head of a Rs 30,000 crore company without having a single penny and not knowing English. He explained the struggle he had to face to reach this stage step by step and how he fought against all odds in realising his dreams.
In this context, he tells about a movie that he liked to his heart's content. He shared on his Twitter handle the ‘Gully Boy’ movie clip starring Ranveer Singh as the protagonist, which was released in 2019 and directed by Zoya Akhtar.
“The director portrayed the ‘Gully Boy’ character very strongly as growing up as a rapper Murad (Ranveer Singh) reached his goal without losing courage even when his own father did not believe in him, But, Murad did not lose his heart and tide over all obstacles by fulfilling his dream,” Anil Agarwal hailed ‘Gully Boy’ as a truly inspiring film.
